Here's my Rock Band 2 profile- check out my band photos and stuff. It's a fun little toy, and one day I'd like to order maquettes of my band.
To do the odd things I do for amusement, and continue doing them, because life is pretty bleak otherwise.
Sixthscale Saturday Matinee
I dug up an old photostory I did years ago for your enjoyment. I was relatively new to action figure stuff at this point, and my photography skills (which weren't stellar to begin with) were pretty weak at this point.
My Dragon Age: Origins Character Page
Because you so totally care, my Dragon Age profile on Bioware's social site, in case you want to see my DA:O characters.
http://social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php?game=xbox&nid=2308500360&per...
Feel free to comment. Unfortunately, the female characters' portraits don't show up, and one of my characters is not even visible (deleted to try to fix her info and haven't played her since, so no updates). I wish Bioware would fix that- odd that character gender would cause a glitch.
Rumble Roses XX Outfit Unlocking Checklist
Anyone who has tried to unlock the different outfits and penalties in Rumble Roses XX knows that it is, to say the least, a total mess.
In order to minimize the pain of doing it the legit way but in as few matches as possible, I created this spreadsheet a couple of years ago and posted it to GameFAQs' Rumble Roses XX forum. It's basically a checklist of all of the penalties and actions you have to get to get 100% complete for everyone.
Feel free to download it and distribute it. If you take credit for it, well, how sad are you?
"Risk," a more daring one-piece swimsuit
This was an experiment that seems to be a success. I decided to make a bolder, more revealing take on the usual 1-piece swimsuit, akin to stuff I have seen by labels like Ujena and Venus Swimwear.
Toy Geek's Blues: Japanese Customizing Sweetness
In this update I waxed poetic on the awesomeness of Japanese customizers, and whether or not I am in this hobby for the wrong damn reasons....
These are rants dedicated to things about collecting toys that bother, annoy, irritate, and frustrate me. I did promise you some ranting, didn't I?
Neon green suit and matching elbow pad
This is the latest iteration of my 1-pc pattern in a toxic 80's neon green. The back fits nice and snug, as does the front. Not sure if I can get the straps much better without having to resort to a fastener.
JoeCon 2007
JoeCon '07 was fun. I spent way too much money but I got to meet some fellow hobbyists in person and also managed to get some barbecue too.
I am pretty sure I want to go to JoeLanta next spring, and maybe if there's a need, I'll help work it. Not to mention, I am going to try to convince my (NOTE: now longtime ex-) girlfriend to consider setting up a small booth of some kind.
The Mod Bods (matching set of one-piece swimsuits)
Note to Google Users: If you're not a toy geek, odds are good you'll want to try this search instead.
Here's another tag-team set. The "mod" fabric (dunno if it really is mod or not, thus the quotes) is from a booksleeve. These were almost a disaster, and the white suit's straps aren't quite right. I am pleased with the red one- it's almost exactly what I want (I will likely never be 100% happy with my work).
