They aren't all winners- a bikini that didn't turn out quite right....
I did this one a while back and decided to go ahead and share the photos since they, at least, turned out OK.
I loosely based this on an old, old pattern I made ages ago, but I got too cocky with it, winged it on one too many areas, and the top turned out off.
It still works, but it's not even close to symmetrical. See the pictures below to see what I mean.
We start with the standard full-body shot. This is the large-bust Soldier Story(ish?) body from Toys Square. Shoes are from Shoezies, a dead collectible shoe line from Hasbro, some of which happen to fit doll and figure feet nicely.
Rear shot, so you can see the hook-and-eye setup mimicking (poorly) a real back closure, the associated leftover threads (because putting the eyes on is a bitch, and they come off easily even when you take extra precautions), and, of course, plastic booty.
Tia does her best to get the fly-aways in her hair to lay down. Notice the big flaw in this- the left, um, cup is about 1/8" higher than the right. That's partially because stitching the braided elastic to the triangles was a real pain in the ass- or is that a pain in the chest?
....and that, folks, is why I don't work in comedy.
The ugly-ass zebra chair is a picture frame with the picture-holding plastic bit removed. If you look closely, you can see the stitch holes in the chair.
Not sure what possessed me to try this pose- maybe I played too much Rumble Roses that night, heh heh.
Takin' a break...
"My eyes are up here, you know..."
Another pose probably inspired by a lack of sleep- I like to think it is a yoga-type pose, but it borders on "gratuitous splits" to me.
For the MWD membership, a bit of teasing.
More teasing, and also a demonstration that the hooks on the sides are indeed functional. Stripper-knickers, heh heh.
Tia's tease from a different angle. I like the way the lighting turned out uneven in these- it adds a certain something, or perhaps it makes these shots a bit less tasteless...
Dunno if I like this one that much. The hair is too wild at this point, and it has almost gone beyond a tease at this point. On the other hand, it makes the top look like it is even.
(Besides liking the way the pictures turned out, I posted this to show that I don't think I am perfect- I am capable of screwing up. It's frustrating because this fabric is in limited supply for me and it was so close to being where I wanted it. The bottom looks good to me. Stupid top... --K).
