Sewing > Neon green 1-piece suit

My latest 1-piece in late-80's neon green

This is the latest iteration of my 1-pc pattern. The back fits nice and snug, as does the front. Not sure if I can get the straps much better without having to resort to a fastener.

Suit front.

Suit back. I goofed a bit on lining up the back seam here.

Side view. I like the lower lighting and how it works here.

Closeup of the elbow brace. This was going to be a kneepad, originally, but I royally screwed it up so I did my best to salvage it.

I did this for two reasons- just for kicks, and because my ego couldn't stand the relative lack of attention my suit postings have been getting on the boards lately. So Tia's showing us how tight this suit really fits...

It looks like K wants to resort to the lowest common denominator to get more views. Eh, not like I'm not used to this...

This is what you want, right?

Maybe a little of this too, hm?

What else should I show you?

How about this? You can see my back, uncovered...

Here's the Maxim centerpiece. This is what you wanted, isn't it?

Um, Tia....is everything OK? We can stop this if you don't want to do it....

This is all for the page views, right K? This is what they want, isn't it?

Hey....wait a minute. You're not comfortable with this, are you? I thought you said you've done this before?

I have. It doesn't mean I like being looked at like that...being part of your own personal harem. You created a personality for me, so that I was more than just an action figure to sit on your desk or stand on a shelf.

Yeah, I did that. I like to think my figures have more to them than a bit of copy on the packaging-

So why are we taking it this far? You just want people to gawk at me, don't you? You don't care about what I think or feel- you just want a body to model your latest works so people will compliment you and wish they could have a woman like me!

Tia...look, it's not like that. I thought you were the type that liked teasing the guys, that it was all in good fun. But if you don't like doing this, we'll stop, OK? We did this before and you seemed to be cool with it.

I was. It wasn't as gratuitous then, plus I felt like I had to compensate for what you admitted was not your best work. The important thing is that I wanted to do it then. I don't want to do it now.

Then we'll stop. Is it alright with you if I post the pictures up to now? Especially that last one, the closeup. It captures your expression so well that I think people will forget that you are, um, "strategically covered."

I'm putting this back on. I want to do another shot or two, but no more teasing for a while, capisce?

Of course. We don't have to do any more. I won't even post these if you don't want me to.

No, I am fine with that. They are already taken- we might as well use them. If they like what they see, that's fine. I just don't want you to think I'll do any type of shoot you want, just because I am a model.

I'll go over things more clearly next time- and for cryin' out loud, if you don't feel comfortable, then say so, OK? We don't have to handle things the way June does....there's a reason I sent her off to be rerooted- she nearly ruined my old camera.

I'm glad we worked that out.

So am I.

It's easier to do this without the awkwardness.

Does potentially being a pinup girl in a 1/6 calendar count as 'awkwardness?'

Only if it's not on my terms.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

(I kinda feel like I've been exploiting the figures lately. I know, in the end they are inanimate objects that are mere representations of hot girls, but I still felt a little dirty after shooting this. Tia is supposed to be a wrestler and model, vaguely along the same lines as Trish Stratus, and I kinda get the feeling this would be considered over the line in her book, so I wrote the little commentary from her to go with it. My next set will likely touch this nerve too, but there's a surprise at the end of that. --K).
